OBJECTIVE
Identify Target, Develop, Acquire and Retain channel partner relationships with top universities within assigned territory in fast paced, hyper-growth outbound telesales environment offering a valuable career resource to students and alumni.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Prospect and Identify opportunities to partner with top schools to deliver the worlds leading online community for elite alumni from elite schools and elite employers.
2. Cold Call key decision makers to set appointments and establish co-marketing relationships
3. Conduct Data Gathering Sessions and Actively Listen to prospective and existing clients by using consultative sales methods to fully understand their business, uncover their problems, and identify impact areas
4. Administer Tailored, Web-Based Presentations over the phone to showcase our unique business partnership model and wide product offerings that will help prospective
5. Research companies and their competitors, industry trends, and best practices
6. Think Strategically to create and deliver complex, customized solutions that provide value to schools and their alumni
7. Build and Maintain a healthy sales pipeline to achieve and exceed quarterly sales quota
8. Become A Subject Matter Expert by acquiring ongoing marketplace intelligence by researching trends and best practices, reading business publications, seeking out learning and development opportunities, and utilizing internal training resources
9. Partner with new and existing schools to establish long-lasting relationships
10. Team Up with employer development to provide clients with product opportunities to intensify customer satisfaction
11. Increase the qualified registered candidate base by offering the appropriate value proposition solutions, creating urgency, and establishing partnerships remotely
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
1. High energy & enthusiasm for creating win-win scenario’s and a proven ability to exceed dialing and candidate quotas
2. Ability to uncover and develop needs and offer appropriate solutions
3. 2+ years of outbound b2b telesales experience in higher education, non-profit or government preferred
4. Experience with CRM and windows based software applications
5. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule to maximize contacts within territory.
6. Strong ability to initiate, establish, and nurture meaningful business relationships over the phone
7. Experience with conceptual sales, solution selling and SPIN selling a plus
8. Ability to maintain a high level of activity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively in a competitive, results-driven culture
9. Ability to positively adapt to change in a highly dynamic work environment
10. Experience working on a performance based compensation structure highly desired
11. Outstanding written and verbal communication, presentation, and time management skills
12. Proficient with Microsoft office and the Internet
